Felipe Marin

NCCP Certified Level III Curling Coach.
Felipe has been coaching curling for 24 years. His coaching accomplishments include:
- 2003 Canadian Juniors – Team Rebecca Atkinson (6-6 record, 6th place finish)
- 2010 Atlantic U18 Championships – Team Andrew Case (4-0 record, Gold medal)
- 2014 Atlantic U18 Championships – Team Liam Marin (4-1 record, Gold medal)
- 2015 Atlantic U18 Championships – Team Liam Marin (3-2 record, Silver medal)
- 2016 World Junior B Championships – Team Spain (Junior Boys: 6-3 record, 9th place; Junior Girls: 0-6 record, 20th place)
- 2016 Optimist U18 International – Team Liam Marin (4-0 record at provincials, event is upcoming)
- 5-time Junior Curling coach-of-the-year (New Brunswick and Atlantics)
- Coached 17 Provincial and Atlantic championship teams (U9, U12, U15, U18 & U21)
- Coached at high performance camps in NB, NS, PEI, Manitoba and Jaca, Spain.
- Current National Coach for Team Spain Junior Curling
- He has also coached at two World Junior ‘B’ Championships, as National Coach for Team Spain.
As an administrator of junior curling, Felipe has held the following posts:
- Club coordinator at 2 clubs for over 10 years
- Past South Zone director, NBCA
- Past NB Junior Curling Development Chair, NBCA
- Past co-director of NB Canada Games Development Committee
- Hosted all 18 Kenny Coates Memorial U15 Championships, plus numerous other events
- Current Curling Director at Riverside Country Club
